Reception, prevention, maintenance of slopes, assistance, such are the words of order of service of the slopes which works at your pleasure and your security every day.

The professionals of the mountain are there to share with you their passion and their know ledge of the middle of mountain, then, follow their advice.

Security of the childs and adults….

Peyragudes organize campaigns for the security of the children and gives pass to all children under 6 years holding the helmet.

On the mountain, the ski patrol are made responsible for watching in your security by telling dangerous behaviours, extreme speed on some zones, out of slopes, conditions weather forecast by recommending you on winter equipement (gloves, glaces, hat)

Two doctors are present every day of season on the hillside Agudes and hillside Peyresourde of the resort. They stay in offices of assistance in the bottom of slopes.

Out of the slopes

To go out of the slopes demand a good technical level, a good knowledge of the mountain and an adapted equipement.

Natural danger of the mountain is not signalled. You advanced at your own risk.

If you want to ski out of slopes, it's absolutely necessary to respect rules of securities, your life depends on it.

1. Never leaves alone.

2. Chose and spot the way.

3. Skiing very well.

4. Enquire about risks of avalanches and weather.

5. Be equipped with Arva ( victim's research apparatus of avalanches) or with the systeme RECCO.

Avalanches can occur. The following flags point out the level of risk.

a Restricted risk of avalanches 1 and 2: stable snow-covered topcoat in fairly stable.

a Risk of avalanches importing ladder 3 and 4: fairly or slightly stable snow-covered topcoat.

a Risk of avalanches very strong ladder 5: changeable snow-covered topcoat on all the slopes.

As any sports activities, the practice of differentes disciplines of gliding on snow includes risks and can carry responsibilities. If you have a mobile, phone in the event of accident: services of slopes and security.

THE RULES OF BEHAVIOURS

1. Respect of other people: The users of the slopes have to act of such that they cannot cause danger by their behaviour or by their equipement.

2. Control of the speed and behaviour: Every user of slopes must adapt his behaviour in his personal capacities as well as in the general conditions of the ground and of time, to the state of snow and in specific importance of traffic.

3. Choice of direction by that upstream: The one who is upstream in a position which allows him to choose a trajectory he must there for make this choice in order to preserve the security of every people who is downstream.

4. Overtaking: Overtaking can be made by the upper reaches or by downstream part, by right, or by left, but he must always be made of rather broad means to tell evolutions of the one that they exceed.

6. Stopping: Every user must avoid stay in narrow passages or without visibility, in case of fall he must clear the slopes as quickly as possible.

7. Rise and descent on foot: It's the one who is made take back up or to take down a slope on foot must use the edge of the slope, by watching out that neither it not its equipement are a danger for other people.

8. Assistance: Every person witness or actor of an accident must lend assistance, notably by raising the alarm. If necessary, he can make available himself to first-aid workers.

9. Respect beaconing and signalling: The user must take into account information on conditions meteorological, on the state of slopes and snow. He owes must respect beaconing and signalling.

10. Identification: Every person witness or actor of an accident is required to make her identity of the service of assistance.

a Crossed yellow stakes and blacks, ropes or tense net point out a danger. Not to respect them, it's to run the risk.

a Circular beacons are established on sight throughout slopes. They carry the name of slope, a colour, and a number dropping since the top of the slope (to specify in the event of accident)

Equipement.

a Snow guaranteed by 200 snow-canons.

Here, assure the level of snow coverage in always a priority. Also, the 200 canons disposed on the slopes are able of assuring a production of 1500m3 an hour and reinforcing the skiing on 2/3 of domain.

In Peyragudes, my pleasure, it's my domain with 46 slopes: 5 greens slopes, 20 blues, 17 reds and 4 blacks, one might as well say that everybody finds gliding in it's measure, and no anxiety, 7 rattracks works on the daily for your confort.

4 hight speed chairs lifts more 2 travelators for beginners. Our objective: always more quickly and higher first of all the others!!! 16 lifts, 2 travelators , 5 ski lift, 9 chairs lifts of which 4 hight speed chairs lifts

a Certify ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Peyragudes has only one worry, that to spare you all problemes, our engagement is very strict of the norme ISO 9001: 2000 will recognize and certified and is applied today in all the estates.

And last winter Peyragudes was certificated ISO 140001 (for this actions to protect the environment)
